Jr NTR, who has been staying away from active politics and activities of Telugu Desam Party, has made interesting and sensational comments on Saturday. Jr NTR, who visited the NTR Ghat to pay respects to the legendary personality on his 18th death anniversary, set the record straight that he is going to campaign for the party in coming general elections.
Although he was the active campaigner for the party in 2009 elections, things changed later. At a stage, there were lot of speculations that Jr NTR would join YSR Congress given that his close aides like Kodali Nani joined the party and picture of him were seen in flexis of the party.
Gap between Jr NTR and TDP subsequently widened by a turn of events and later, his father Hari Krishna quit Rajyasabha membership against bifurcation of AP. The father and son duo didn't even present for the wedding of Balayya's second daughter Tejeswini hinting that all is not well within the family. Putting those rumours to rest, NTR gave clear indications on Saturday that he is back to his grandfather's party

Remember that it was we (Gulte.com) which first broke the news that Nara Lokesh has taken initiative to patch up with Jr NTR and the former even confirmed that Jr NTR would be campaigning for the party in 2014 elections during an internal TNSF (Telugu Nadu Student's Federation) meet in party few months ago.
With NTR back to TDP, there's lot of hope among TDP cadres. They're hoping that Young Tiger is going to breathe new life into TDP. One thing is proved right again, there are no permanent friends or foes in politics. With all this, political heat in Andhra Pradesh is going to soar up in next coming days. |
